Rajiv Ruparelia  joins Uganda Motor Economy tour to promote tourism.

The three-day adventure tour is meant to promote domestic tourism in the country and will cover the western region.

Uganda’s top rally drivers including Rajiv Ruparelia have registered to join the 2020 Uganda Motor Economy Tour slated for next month. The rally tour is organised by United Motorsport Club (UMOSPOC) and Enduro Club on 20th to 22nd November 2020.

The entrance fee for the rally is UGX50,000 for individuals and UGX2,500,000 for a team of four people.

"We have got a positive response and Rajiv put in his entry which is good that even their sponsors are likely to join them. At the moment, we have 20 entries including the Worldwide Movers team and Godfrey commonly known as Tollman in the motorsport circles."  said COC Justin Mungoma  

The three-day adventure tour is meant to promote domestic tourism in the country and will cover the western region.

On day one, participants will cover a distance from Kampala- Kapeka- Hoima- Kabwoya Game Reserve and spend an overnight in Hoima.

They will then cover Hoima - Kagadi- Kyenjojo- Fort Portal - Bundibugyo (Semuliki National Park and Sempaya Hot springs) and spend an overnight in Fort Portal on day two.

The final day will cover the areas of Fort Portal - Kasese - Kazinga channel- Queen Elizabeth National Park - Ishaka escapement- Bushenyi and end in Mbarara.

He urged the motorsport fraternity and all Ugandans to embrace the project because it promotes domestic tourism which is education to all.

Recently during the election of the new leadership of The Central Motor Club has elected the new leadership during its annual general meeting held  at Kabira country club, Rajiv Ruparelia was elected as the new chairperson board of trustees with Shaym Kotecha as the new club chairperson deputized by Kaketto sayid.
